Theo Ellsworth Imaginary School Artfest 2012

"Imaginary School" with Theo Ellsworth rocked my free world!

First we needed a mind technology powered Disbelief Suspension Suit.
It protected us against non-believers.  My suit is made of leaf vine. My wings are made of branches and there are little magicl charms hung all about them My helmet has kaleidoscope glasses. I easily disguise as flora or fauna. I shuffle when I walk, kind of slide or shuffle like Sigmund the Sea Monster does.

Then we created a portal so that we could travel to our own world. We needed the suit in this world. Now we make the portal to travel between the worlds.

My portal was through the deep paths of a forest, and draped with web

We were working with a folded piece of thick paper. We cut ourselves out, opened the "portal"

And then placed us (glued) onto the opposite page after tracing the portal so we were in the correct spot to go back when it was time to leave the world we were now in. Our real world.  Mine was weird.

It has giant weird mushroomy things and webs with moonbeams and feathers hanging down, and little creatures like snails and fairies and ....well, I'm still not done with it. Then you color it in! Someday.

This really happened in April. Not March as the post suggests. I did a naughty thing and deleted what was here before and inserted this one, because I like things to be in order. Time order. But it's really just silly.
